In black and white, the highlands of Iceland reveal themselves as a landscape of extremes—places where light and shadow play across the earth in the most elemental ways. By removing color, I aim to distill the experience of these remote and vast locations to their essence, allowing viewers to engage with the land’s textures, forms, and contrasts on a more visceral level.
