These aerial perspectives of the villages of Northern Norway, capture the area’s stunning integration into its dramatic fjord setting. In particular, the red and yellow houses of Reine are nestled along a narrow strip of land. The villages are surrounded by the imposing, rugged peaks of the fjords which are known to have formed over 400 million years ago!
I am fascinated by the area and the intricate network of roads, houses, and fishing docks. This highlights the village’s relationship with its natural surroundings. These scenes showcase not only the natural splendor but also how the community thrives in the harsh northern climate.
